Why Khaas exists
I'm Ojas Gangwal. I build production RAG assistants — the kind that answer support and documentation questions from your own content instead of making things up. Khaas is my one-person studio in Rome, and I write every line of the code myself.
AlfaCura taught me what actually matters. Across 13,000+ production conversations in an Italian healthcare setting, I learned that the language model is the least trustworthy part of the system — so I stopped letting it decide the things that count. Deterministic rules run before the model: regex catches emergencies before any inference, routing and entity extraction are structured rather than guessed, and the model's output is schema-constrained. The AI never gets the chance to hallucinate on a case that matters.
That's the line I hold: I won't ship an assistant that guesses. If a wrong answer costs you a customer or a compliance problem, the architecture has to make that answer impossible, not merely unlikely. I work with SaaS founders and agencies who feel the same way — invoiced under an Italian Partita IVA, in European hours, talking directly to the engineer building your product.
